No wonder people now avoid hospitals unless life threatening.. you may not come out alive by Doctor decision, protocols or dirty equipment. How on earth can someone develop a FUNGAL lung infection in a supposedly sterile environment?? Dirty equipment!! I don't know what to say to this anymore, it's mentally scarring. This poor woman.

I actually think an obsession over being too clean/sterile is part of the problem. There is a balance to be had with the microbial world. Hence anti-biotic resistance superbugs.

I get what you mean but hospitals aren't clean. Under the Matron/Sister system the hospitals were clean using only carbolic soap. Fresh sheets and bed wash everyday too. Patients had fresh air and sunlight because taken outside by nurses. Super bugs and anti-biotic resistance didn't become a thing until all cleaning was outsourced to private companies who use a ton of chemicals, sheets are only changed if soiled or upon discharge. No-one gets taken out for fresh air (sunlight is the best disinfectant) and bed baths are rare. Wards often have no windows that open so the heat and lack of deep/proper cleaning allows bacteria to spread. GP's have a hand in anti-biotic resistance due to over-prescribing when not needed. Hospitals were run under a tight ship by the Matrons and Sisters, wards deep cleaned daily and no super bugs etc all with just carbolic soap. Now they're a breeding ground for bacteria.

Agree with all that. Not to mention the poor quality food served to patients at a time when they need the highest quality nutrition.

💯 the food adds insult to injury.

'In the summer of 2019, there was an outbreak of listeriosis in which seven patients tragically died after eating hospital sandwiches contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.'

That's a great report, have only flicked through but will read properly later. Unfortunately it looks like it has just sat on a shelf as not much has changed. Glaring observation that NHS has failed to recognise legal obligations for food!! Again, many hospitals and homes don't have kitchens and outsource to private companies with food being reheated on site. Listeria in sandwiches is disgraceful. Should not be happening. Add dying from hospital food to the list of reasons you may never be seen alive again if you go near one. Food is medicine and if a heath care setting can't get the basics right how can they be trusted with more complicated matters.

In 12 days, the Scottish Parliament will hold a vote that will shape Scotland for generations.

We are now expecting that the final Stage 3 vote on the Scottish McArthur assisted suicide Bill at Holyrood will take place in just 12 days, on Tuesday 17 March.

SCOTLAND NOW STANDS AT A CROSSROADS

Scotland now stands at a crossroads – one that will decide how human life and the most vulnerable are treated for generations to come, in a similar way to what was faced six decades ago in 1967 when the Abortion Act was introduced.

Should Liam McArthur’s extreme assisted suicide Bill pass at this final vote on Tuesday 17 March, tens of thousands of vulnerable lives will be at risk in Scotland over the coming decades.

This is what is at stake.

The Stage 3 vote on Tuesday 17 March is the final vote.

This Bill cannot be stopped in the House of Lords, as would be the case if it were passed by the House of Commons, like the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill.

There are no second chances.

If this dangerous assisted suicide Bill passes in just 12 days, Scotland will be changed forever.

I am not exaggerating when I say that the vote on that day is arguably the most important vote on any issue in Scotland in a generation.

If this Bill is not defeated on that day, it will be a total catastrophe for Scotland.

THE GOOD NEWS

There is a clear path to defeating this Bill at this final vote.

Following the Stage 1 vote, The Telegraph published a piece based on analysis from our Public Affairs team, which revealed that more than 20 MSPs who initially voted for the Bill have indicated they could vote against it at the final vote at Stage 3.

If just seven of these MSPs switch their stance and vote against the Bill, it will be defeated at Stage 3.

Two MSPs have already publicly indicated that they will be changing their vote from supporting to opposing the Bill, so we now only have to move 5 more votes to ensure this Bill is defeated.

This means this really is winnable – but only if you and your family do everything in your power over these final two weeks to ensure it is defeated - and you don’t have to be based in Scotland to be able to help out.

TAKE ACTION - 10 EASY WAYS YOU CAN HELP ENSURE THE BILL IS DEFEATED

This is now the final fortnight of our Support Not Suicide Scotland campaign to defeat this dangerous Bill.

The most important activity you can do during these two weeks is mobilise people you know in Scotland to contact their MSPs and ask them to vote NO on 17 March.

If you live in Scotland and haven’t already contacted your MSPs asking them to vote NO on Tuesday 17 March, please do that now. It takes about 30 seconds.

I'll be shocked if this doesn't pass. Lessons are being learned.

They are being less successful than they thought they would be, it is worth pushing back.

The cascade to iatrogenic death started with the “test”. Then the protocols took over, with people who tested positive being put on an unusual and deadly path whilst those with the same symptoms who tested negative were treated differently. It still horrifies me that so many doctors and nurses could go along with this.

This is a heartbreaking reminder that 'official' narratives often bury the human truth. Sharon’s story about the sealed coffin and the mismanagement of George’s diabetes is a punch to the gut. It shows that when we stop auditing the systems meant to save us, people pay with their lives. Ventilator-associated infections being chalked up as just 'another COVID death' is a conversation we NEED to have.

Excellent comment Wolf.

''Ventilator-associated infections being chalked up as just 'another COVID death' is a conversation we NEED to have.''

I agree because it calls into question the fundamental claim of a deadly pandemic generating millions of excess deaths. But survey the media landscape including popular 'alt.' No one speaking out really wants to touch any of the inquiry stuff (this account ignored, muted or blocked by popular critic accounts) despite it proving many critic concerns valid. Another example you speak of below.

Was his body hidden because he was scavenged for 'donor' body parts? Considering what else went on seems plausible to me.

Some relatives have remarked no idea if loved ones were in coffin. This opens up another can of worms entirely. Sickening beyond belief!
