Same horse different jockey here in Oz. I've put in a complaint for this imbecile to change her name, Commissioner Finlay ( they love titles). Trying to weasel their way out of blame, too late. A disgrace to the clan, her b.s comments as follows;
"This isn’t about who is to blame, but how we can do better. We cannot wait for the next crisis to learn these lessons.” Commissioner Finlay said.
“We must rebuild trust, strike a balance between individual freedoms and public health, and place human rights at the heart of emergency planning.”
Who decides which individual freedoms are to be sacrificed for “public health” and “the greater good”? It seems like many people in Australia think that the “CoVid Years” are over and best forgotten, but they’ll never be forgotten by those vilified for choosing to avoid experimental gene therapies, or those injured by the vaxxes, those families whose loved ones died as a result of the vaxxes, and all those severely impacted by authoritarian dictates. People died alone, others attended funerals at which many were denied attendance, small businesses collapsed, children missed important social and educational opportunities and so much more. The authorities will need to address these and many other grievances before we trust again. I’m in Victoria and we suffered significant deprivations.
'Anne's Law'.....there are increasing numbers of laws given Christian names. It makes them sound unthreatening, 'cosy' even, made to keep people 'safe'. If the law said you had to stay 'locked down' for your own good and the collective good, it is loaded with threat and sanction, but if people are told it is 'Anne's Law' then the 'sting' is taken out of what that law means when it is applied.....during the next 'pandemic'.

I point them to one of these such "soon to be law's", that have popped up in place, ready to go, ALL around the world. They call them different names, Gove slightly different reasoning for why they need to be put in place. But they are there in EVERY country.
