"Why are people in Scotland so passive in the face of such blatant totalitarianism based on lies?" Exactly what I was thinking, I remember when I realised what a complete and utter sham this fake pandemic was, I looked about in the expectation that everyone else would have came to their senses only to be met with blank faces staring back at me as if I was the mad one. I believe if the government had told the people of Scotland to hop on one leg and rub their tummy anticlockwise to ward off the "virus" it would be done without hesitation. It still scares me that no one I met questioned the tyranny and madness we experienced, it really does not bode well for the future.
We think alike Amat. One time i stood on a 2m distance floor sticker and touched my nose repeatedly and claimed this was the new advice to repel the virus, i believe if i asked enough enough people some would have followed. There is absolultely no guarantee all this madness will NOT return.
I had a young woman hysterically shouting and pointing at me in a supermarket as if I was Typhoid Mary because I was not standing the full 6ft distance away from her, it was a very surreal experience.
It showed all the nutters up though. I was stood outside a garden centre waiting for it to open and the only other person was in front of me she had a right go at me because I didn’t have a face nappy on and I was too close to her! I just laughed.
Spot on. I think most people have shifted their position from believing in Priests and Gurus, to believing in 'The Science', but they lack education in either, so fall into mute compliance.
I read yesterday that the more educated people are, the more they are likely to be concerned with retaining approval from their peer group as this affects their status in society.
Thats interesting - I also heard somewhere that people with PhD's were less likely to take the jab than ordinary graduates. I guess it is more about personality types than IQ though - some of us are just born in the awkward squad!
But don't call it martial law or tyranny or fascism or totalitarianism- these are naughty words.
Just call it 'staying safe', 'flattening the curve', 'protecting granny' in other words lie through your teeth.
Still can't believe so many people fell for this crap and willingly isolated themselves inside their homes for months even years based on reports from serial liars that there was an invisible bogeyman just around the corner.
What was the difference in people's psyches in that some obediently followed bizarre rules in hospitality or in shops while some resisted the propaganda from the outset....must be something in the arrangement of genes!
Devi Sridhar seems very keen on reducing alcohol consumption, what better way than destroying the industry. Oh wait that doesn't end well . So sad no real honesty or contrition from those in charge.
Devious Headshrinker is what I call her - and she had a ridiculous amount of influence over Nicola Sturgeon, despite or maybe because her CV is not medical, its all about 'Nudging behaviors'.
The current Scotland the brave is much like the current ANZAC spirit, an insult to the past. My circle of trust is now the size of a bottle top but you're definitely part of my tribe.👍🇦🇺🦘
If you were sat down at a table you could take your face covering off but if you stood up to goto the toilet you had to put your face covering on.’’ ANDWE DID IT.

And some of us have had experiences that led us to understand that the NHS and doctors cannot be trusted with our health.
